What you need

Install a player from the App Store

Almost always autocorrect or an automatic capital in the server URL. Clear the field completely, disable auto-capitalisation in Settings if it keeps happening, and re-enter the address character by character.

Playback stops when I leave the app

iOS suspends video in the background by design. Use picture-in-picture if the player supports it — that is the supported way to keep playback going while using another app.

The app I used has vanished from the App Store

iOS IPTV players are withdrawn from time to time. An installed copy keeps working, but you cannot reinstall it on a new device. Pick a currently listed alternative and re-enter your details; the subscription is unaffected.
