LeafIPTV Support | Help With Setup, Activation & Playback
Get help with activation, device setup, buffering and account questions. Common fixes first, then how to reach a person if they do not solve it.
Most problems fall into a handful of categories, and the fixes below solve the large majority of them faster than waiting for a reply. If none of it works, the last section tells you how to reach a person and what to include so the first answer is a useful one.
Buffering and stuttering
Almost always a connection or device problem rather than a service problem, and the two are easy to tell apart. If everything buffers, look at the connection. If only fast-moving content buffers, the connection is short of headroom during high-bitrate scenes.
- Use wired Ethernet on your main viewing device if at all possible — Wi-Fi jitter causes more stutter than bandwidth shortfall does.
- Test during your own evening peak, since a midday test proves nothing about 8pm.
- Close other devices that stream or back up in the background.
- Try a different player app before concluding the service is at fault; the same stream often behaves differently in another client.
Credentials and activation
Account details are sent by email after an order is processed. If they have not arrived, check spam and promotions folders first — automated credential emails are filtered more often than any other kind.
- Confirm you are checking the email address used on the order.
- Xtream Codes login and M3U playlist URL are two different formats for the same account; your player will want one or the other.
- MAG boxes are activated by MAC address, which has to be supplied before the box will connect.
Channels or content missing
Package composition varies, and a channel count is not a promise about any specific channel. If something you expected is not there, tell us which one rather than that 'channels are missing' — it is the difference between a same-day answer and a long exchange.
Reaching a person
Email contact@leafiptv.ca. Written support keeps a record for both sides, which matters when a problem takes more than one exchange to solve.
- Include your order email address and, if you have it, your order reference.
- Say which device and which player app, by name and version if you can.
- Describe what you see rather than what you think is wrong — 'freezes for two seconds every minute on live sport' is far more actionable than 'not working'.
